Sludge for purification is loaded directly into the receptacle, usually a by bucket loader. Tank is filled with clean water or water with the addition of reagents which may be made from dry mixes. UOG-15 plant is designed for purification of soil hydrocarbon content to less than 1% at a first cycle (with the possibility of reducing the concentration of 10-20 times for 1-2 cycles), but in cases where a higher quality of purification is required with a single cycle of washing - detergent compositions may be employed.

The sludge in the majority of cases, contains a large number of grass/weeds stones, clods and other large structures. The UOG-15 designed for washing off ground and solid phases up to several centimeters. The designation of receptacle is to hold the primary separation.

Receptacle supplied with an intake device equipped with a macerator, the task of which is to split long fibrous structures and separation of the solids larger than 20 mm.

At the same time large waste particles accumulating at the bottom should be regularly stirred and unloaded outside the plant. Mounted excavator is used for this, which is included in models manufactured from 2016.
